Delivery charges
Delivery times will only apply when we have
the requested products in stock.
Standard Charge signature delivery:
3 - 4 days delivery from shipping day, Excludes
Saturday, Sunday and regional Bank Holidays.
1 item shipping cost will be £3.
2-3 items shipping cost will be £4.
4-5 items shipping cost will be £5.
6+ items shipping cost will be £6.50.
If the shipping costs less than we've stated
we'll correct your shipping costs at the
time of debiting your credit card. If the
shipping cost's more than we've stated,
we'll contact you via e-mail or phone to
confirm if you want to proceed with the
order with correct shipping costs.
What if I'm not in when
you deliver?
Royal Mail deliveries will usually be made
on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5pm.
We realise that occasionally Royal Mail
may try to deliver an order and you (or
the intended recipient) may not be available.
Each time an attempt is made, Royal Mail
will leave a card at the delivery address
confirming that they have tried to deliver.
This card contains a contact number so you
can speak to the Royal Mail depot and agree
a convenient delivery time or arrange for
you to collect the order directly from their
depot. After 3 failed delivery attempts,
your items will be returned to our store.
Why do you store my
details?
We ask for a small amount of information
such as your name and address and store
it in our secure environment so the next
time you return, we can speed up the time
it takes you to complete your purchase.
Is storing my details
safe?
We realise how important it is to securely
store any information that you provide and
as a result, we maintain the highest level
of security. Any personal information (including
payment card details) provided to us will
be encrypted to maintain the privacy of
your details using high level SSL encryption
technology, the most advanced security software
currently available for online transactions.
What details do I need
to provide to make a purchase?
We only require a minimal amount of information
to allow you to make a purchase. This information
includes:
Name and Address
Your e-mail address and daytime telephone
number so we can contact you on regards
to your order.
Payment Details (These do not have to
be saved i.e. you can re-enter your payment
details each time you make a purchase. However
for your convenience we do offer you the
option to store your payment details to
save you entering them each time you order.)
Delivery Address details
You will also need to provide a password
so that you can access our secure environment
to view or amend your personal details.
How can I pay for an
order?
We offer various ways for you to pay for
your order. You can do so, using any of
the following:

- Mastercard
- Switch
- Delta
- Solo
What is your policy on
data protection?
We never release your personal details to
companies outside Bowling Chemist Ltd for
marketing purposes. When you shop on our
site, we collect certain personal information
from you (for example, your name, email
address, payment address and details). All
such information is held on secure servers
and Bowling Chemist fully complies with
all applicable Data Protection and consumer
legislation and will treat all your personal
information as fully confidential.
In order to most efficiently serve you,
reputable third-party banking and distribution
institutions handle our credit card transactions
and order fulfilment. They receive the information
needed to verify and authorise your payment
card and to process your order. All such
organisations are under strict obligation
to keep your personal information private.
How will I know that you've
received my order?
After your order has passed through our
security checks we will send you a confirmation
email detailing the exact order received
with the correct shipping cost, V.A.T (TAX)
deduction where applicable, discounts where
applicable.
When will my account
be debited?
We do not believe in charging for an item
until it is on its way to you. Once we have
received your order and it has left our
store, we will debit your nominated account.
For example, if you place your order on
a Monday then your account will be debited
with correct shipping costs and discounts
where applicable and without VAT where applicable
when the order leaves our store. The prices
quoted on our website include VAT on all
items. For OVERSEAS orders, V.A.T (TAX),
correct shipping costs, discounts where
applicable will be deducted from your order
at the time of debiting your nominated account.
Returns and refunds
We hope you will be highly satisfied with
any product purchased on our website but
if you wish to return an item to us then
we aim to make it as quick and convenient
as possible. Please note that, with the
exception of faulty merchandise, we cannot
exchange or accept the return of certain
items which have been opened and used for
example: make - up, cream, lotions, perfume,
vitamins, if their seal is broken.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Note: SKII items are non - returnable /
non - refundable.
Note: Goods must be returned within 28 days
of contacting our customer services team.
Once we have received and verified the
returned item we will initiate the refund,
replacement or exchange. To discuss the
return of any item, contact our Customer

You should be aware that if we are requested

Information and /or User Information we
are entitled do so.
Indemnity
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and
hold us, and our officers, directors, employees,
agents and suppliers, harmless immediately
on demand, from and against all claims,
liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses,
including reasonable legal fees, arising
out of any breach of the Conditions by you
or any other liabilities arising out of
your use of this Website, or the use by
any other person accessing the Website using
your shopping account and/or your Personal

We reserve the right to

Contract creation and
electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the
contract between you and us are as follows:
- You place the order for your products
on the web site by pressing the confirm
order button at the end of the checkout
process. You will be guided through the
process of placing an order by a series
of simple instructions on the web site.
- We will send to you an order acknowledgement
email detailing the products you have
ordered, corrected shipping costs, V.A.T
(TAX) deduction where applicable, discounts

- Order acceptance and the completion
of the contract between you and us will
take place on the despatch to you of the
Products ordered unless we have notified
you that we do not accept your order or
you have cancelled it.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result
of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable
from stock.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation
for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing or

- You not meeting the eligibility to
order criteria set out in the main Terms
& Conditions.
Description of products
Each Product purchased is sold subject to
its Product Description which sets out additional
Specific Conditions related to that Product
including, without limitation, terms and
conditions concerning estimated delivery
dates and times, warranties, after-sales
service and guarantees.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure
that all details, descriptions and prices
of Products appearing on the Website are
correct at the time when the relevant information
was entered onto the system. Although we
aim to keep the Website as up to date as
possible, the information including Product
Descriptions appearing on this Website at

the position exactly at the moment you place

Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable)
at the current rates and are correct at
the time of entering the information onto
the system. The total cost of your order
is the price of the Products ordered plus
delivery charges as set out in the Delivery
section of this Website. Payment can be
made by any of the methods specified in
the Payment section of this Website and
payment will be debited and cleared from
your account as set out in the Payment section
of this Website.
You confirm that the credit, debit or
store card that is being used is yours.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject
to validation checks and authorisation by
the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment
card refuses to or does not, for any reason,
authorise payment to us, we will not be
liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Refusal of transaction
We reserve the right to withdraw any Products
from this Website at any time and/or remove
or edit any materials or content on this

for any reason or refuse service to anyone
at any time at our sole discretion. We will

a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding
breach of any provision.
Survival
Each provision of the Conditions shall be
construed as separately applying and surviving
even if for any reason one or other of those

the Conditions, you have not relied on any
representation save insofar as the same
has expressly been made a term of these

or negligent misrepresentation whether or
not such has become a term of the Conditions.
Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of
England and you irrevocably submit to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
